I have such a love hate relationship with New York. Sometimes I find myself overwhelmed with crowds and grime and others I can’t help but to be enamored by all the great places to shop and eat! I have to say my trip this weekend was more on the love side. And I definitely ate so much that I had to break this post into two parts!
We started our day with brunch at Fig and Olive. Super cute place that has some amazing food starring, you guessed it, figs and olives. and I had the most amazing Fig Pancakes! We also tried a bunch of different crostinis, which did not disappoint. Post-Brunch, we checked out Mario Batali’s Eataly. The place is amazing. Tons of imported Italian goods and actual European coffee. I tried this iced coffee called spumanti di cappuccino, which was essentially an all foam cappuccino So GOOD! My only regret is that I wish we’d had some room to try their amazing looking desserts.
That’s all for now. Be on the lookout for part II!
